Every year, in compliance with Maryland Department of Planning regulations, Worcester County Public Schools produces a comprehensive, long-range school facilities plan called the Educational Facilities Master Plan. This document, aligned with the Worcester County Comprehensive Plan, guides our school system as it analyzes school facilities based on projected school enrollments, shifting population patterns, aging schools, and our educational curriculum.
The goal of the Educational Facilities Master Plan is to gather the necessary facts about our facility improvement priorities. Projections are difficult and challenging; however, all of our projections have been reviewed and approved by the Worcester County Department of Planning and the Maryland Department of Planning.
The 2010-2011 plan has been divided into three sections. If you are unable to view each section by left-clicking to open, please right click and "save target as" a file on your computer desktop. Each section should open easily from your desktop.
